Threats Can Come From Anywhere!

It is a good idea to practice your skills of defending your territory and your humans. Cole decided to do just that one day in Pensacola Beach. Always Defending!

Fort Pickens

We spent some time at Fort Pickens while we were in Pensacola Beach. It is part of the Gulf Island National Seashore National Park. It was built beginning in 1829 and was completed around 1833. If you are interested, you can read more about it here…https://www.nps.gov/guis/learn/historyculture/fort-pickens.htm The views were amazing. The beach areas were just beautiful. Here are some pictures that we took.

It was my turn to drive, so I had done my research and had a station picked out. I looked at satellite photos on google maps (seasoned RVers say that is the best way to make sure you don’t get yourself in a bad situation). My choice of stations had a direct lane in and a straight shot out where I could catch a light to make a left turn and get back on the highway. A good plan, right! Until we pulled in and a Budweiser truck blocked one lane of the exit. I never did like Budweiser. Now what? Now we get to drive up a hill with an S curve to get out.
